I am a mental health therapist who specializes in Anxiety and Maternal Mental Health.
I help anxious overachievers overcome their persistent worries to do what what they were meant to do with all that anxious energy - like quit their job, become a present parent, get through that graduate program or discover what it is you truly want to do next.
I help people feel better and live their most authentic lives by ditching worry and honing their happiness. I can help you too.
MY STORY
I am an anxious overachiever who continues to walk my own path of honing my anxieties to be the person I am intended to be, and not held back by waiting for the other shoe to drop or imposture syndrome. I am a small buisness owner who is proud to serve my community in a time I think we need it most.
I am much more than just a therapist.
I am a mother to many, from baby to adult, from biological to adopted. I am a former legal professional, former child protection caseworker, writer and lover of all things politics. I’ve been to college more times than I should have, and am on what some would call my fourth career. I am an extroverted type A person who understands what it’s like to suffer from perfectionism, obsessive and controlling thoughts.
I often take on more than I handle.
So in 2020 I stepped away from my 9 to 5 job to pursue Balancing Anxiety full time after wanting to spend more time with my children and hone my passions. And then, I found my life long calling: helping people as an individual mental health counselor.
Getting to help children, adults and mothers walk away from their anxiety is my jam.
And as it turns out, I attract clients that are just like me! They tend to be born anxious, ambitious, and have a little trauma in the background.

I HELP PEOPLE DITCH WORRY
⪼ I work with perfectionists and teach them how to break free of their inability to accomplish their goals.
⪼ I get people back to sleep after suffering from racing thoughts, headaches & stomachaches and constant fear that they aren’t doing enough.
⪼ I help socially anxious folks find romance and real connection.{I’m a virtual wing woman!}
⪼ I help people stop their obsessive and compulsive thoughts.
⪼ I teach people coping skills to get them to live their best life.
And honestly? I think I have the best job in the world.
I HELP MOTHERS FEEL EMPOWERED
⪼I help mothers stop second guessing what everyone is telling them, and help them make empowered choices.
⪼ I help tired and worn out parents set the boundaries they need to in order to be the best parents possible.
⪼ I help pregnant mothers plan for how to handle the entrance of another human, and plan for the anxieties to come.
⪼I give moms a space to talk about whatever they need — really.
I believe that mothers are the soul of this earth, and if we support them, we support everyone.
