VIRTUAL OCD THERAPY IN COLORADO

When feeling certain takes over your day

You check again, replay the conversation, or search for an answer that will finally put your mind at ease. The relief may last a moment before another doubt appears.

OCD can be exhausting, isolating, and difficult to explain. At Balancing Anxiety, we offer specialized virtual care to help you understand the cycle and work toward a life with less time spent answering its demands.

OCD can feel like…

✖ Unwanted thoughts, images, or doubts keep interrupting your day.

✖ You feel driven to check, repeat, review, or ask for reassurance before you can move on.

✖ You spend long stretches mentally replaying events to make sure nothing went wrong.

✖ Avoiding certain situations feels easier than facing the uncertainty they bring.

✖ You’re afraid someone will misunderstand your thoughts, so you keep them to yourself.

Treatment can feel like…

✔ Recognizing obsessions and compulsions, including the ones happening internally.

✔ Responding to uncertainty without relying as heavily on rituals or reassurance.

✔ Gradually returning to activities and situations you’ve been avoiding.

✔ Reclaiming time and attention for your relationships, interests, and daily life.

✔ Learning how to respond when familiar patterns begin returning.

Our OCD Support Includes:

Specialized care, with someone alongside you

We take time to understand the thoughts, rituals, and avoidance patterns affecting your life, including the ones other people may never notice.

Our OCD care includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). You and your therapist work together to gradually approach situations that trigger obsessions while practicing different responses to the urge to perform compulsions.

Your therapist will explain the process and plan steps with you. The goal is to help you move forward with your life, even when the feeling of complete certainty doesn’t come.

You don’t need to be certain before you start

You might recognize yourself in these descriptions and still wonder whether it’s really OCD. You may also be experiencing broader anxiety, depression, or the effects of difficult past experiences.

You don’t have to sort through those questions alone. Our team can help you understand what’s happening and explore care that fits your needs.
