VIRTUAL ANXIETY THERAPY IN COLORADO
When your mind won’t give you a break
You might be getting through your responsibilities while feeling constantly on edge underneath it all. Rest feels difficult, your thoughts keep moving, and even doing your best doesn’t seem to quiet the worry.
At Balancing Anxiety, we offer virtual anxiety therapy that helps you understand what’s happening and find ways to respond differently. We’ll work together toward more breathing room in your thoughts, your relationships, and your everyday life.
Anxiety can feel like…
✖ You’re stressed, but slowing down doesn’t seem to help you relax.
✖ You’re exhausted at bedtime, yet your thoughts keep you awake.
✖ You feel increasingly overwhelmed while continuing to take on more.
✖ Your mind races through everything you need to accomplish, and your best rarely feels like enough.
✖ You want to talk to someone but worry about burdening the people you love, so you keep more to yourself.
Treatment can feel like…
✔ Spending less time caught in worry and more time engaged in your life.
✔ Finding ways to settle at night and support more restful sleep.
✔ Practicing skills that help you respond to anxious thoughts and physical tension.
✔ Understanding the experiences, expectations, and habits that contribute to your anxiety.
✔ Building a plan for recognizing difficult periods and knowing how to support yourself through them.
Our Anxiety Specialities Include:

Generalized Anxiety Disorder most frequently presents as having excessive worry, disrupted sleep, racing thoughts, stomach or head pain, and an inability to calm down or rest.
-

Mothers can experience excessive worry from the time they find out they are pregnant to after their children leave. “Mom worry” is an area I specialize in and love to work with!

Post Partum Anxiety is classified as having excess worry directly after the birth of a child. Closely related to Post Partum Depression, it is brought on by hormonal changes in the new mother.
Understanding your anxiety, together
We begin by getting to know how anxiety shows up for you, what keeps it going, and what you’d like to feel different.
Depending on your needs and your therapist’s approach, we may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other methods. Sessions can include practical skills, exploring patterns, and practicing new responses to situations that feel difficult.
You’ll have a voice in the process. We’ll talk about what’s helping and adjust your care as we learn more about you.
Maybe anxiety describes what you’re experiencing, or maybe it’s tangled up with burnout, low mood, or things you’ve lived through. You don’t need a diagnosis or the perfect words to start.
Our Colorado therapists will take the time to understand what’s happening and help you explore the support that fits. Get to know the team, or take the next step toward your first session.
