Meet Gwen
Virtual Therapy for Anxiety, OCD & Trauma in Colorado
It can feel vulnerable to share the thoughts you’ve kept to yourself or explain why something that looks manageable from the outside feels so difficult. Gwen brings kindness, curiosity, and a gentle presence to those conversations, taking time to understand your experience without making assumptions.
Gwen is a Licensed Social Worker specializing in anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. Her background includes working in a dedicated anxiety clinic in Oregon, where she deepened her experience in treating anxiety disorders. She helps clients explore how past experiences and present-day patterns connect, with care focused on meaningful, lasting relief.
Outside of therapy, Gwen is a mixed-media artist with a background in English. That creative, thoughtful spirit comes through in her work, along with a sense of humor that makes room for moments of lightness when they’re welcome.
Curiosity before assumptions
Gwen approaches therapy with respect for your perspective and the values that matter to you. She primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), working collaboratively to help you understand patterns, respond differently to difficult thoughts, and move toward what matters in your life.
Focused support for anxiety and OCD
Gwen brings specialized anxiety experience and training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to her work with OCD. She understands that sharing intrusive thoughts or describing compulsions can feel uncomfortable. Her approach offers room to speak honestly and work together on the patterns that have been limiting your life.
Trauma care grounded in connection
As an EMDR-trained clinician, Gwen offers another way to work with experiences that continue to affect how you feel today. She takes time to understand your needs and discuss treatment options with you. Her commitment to accessible, personal care reflects a broader belief that therapy should serve the people and communities who need it.
