Tools and Education for Therapists

Supporting the people who support others

You spend your days making space for other people. You deserve support, thoughtful guidance, and room to grow, too.

At Balancing Anxiety, we’re developing resources and learning opportunities to help therapists deepen their clinical skills and build careers that work with their lives. Our vision is to bring practical education into honest conversations about what it means to do this work as a real person.

A helpful place to start

We’re creating free resources for the questions and challenges that come up in clinical practice. Think approachable guides, useful tools, and opportunities to pause and reflect on your work.

Our hope is to offer something you can return to when you need a fresh perspective or a little more direction.

After the Session

When You Leave the Session Still Thinking About It
A reflection worksheet to help therapists process lingering questions, notice their own emotional responses, and identify what to bring to consultation.

A Therapist’s Boundary Check

A short guide to recognizing where scheduling, client communication, and emotional availability may be stretching you too thin, with prompts to explore what needs to change.

A Practice That Fits Your Life

A planning workbook to help clinicians reflect on their ideal caseload, professional interests, financial needs, and family commitments before deciding what comes next.

Meet Nicole

An experienced clinician and a thoughtful guide for fellow therapists

Nicole is a therapist, founder of Balancing Anxiety, and coach for clinicians who want to grow with intention. Her background spans social work, private practice, and training other therapists alongside her business partner, Kathy.

She is also the author of Balancing Anxiety: A Book for the Perfectionist Overachiever, helping readers understand anxiety through approachable education, reflective worksheets, and mindfulness practices. Her writing reflects the same commitment she brings to teaching: making useful knowledge accessible and practical.

As an EMDR-certified therapist and IFS practitioner, Nicole values continued learning. As a mother and business owner, she also understands that a meaningful career needs room for the person building it.

Her approach to supporting therapists reflects the practice she’s creating: grounded in relationships, open to honest questions, and committed to helping clinicians do good work without losing themselves in it.
