BALANCING ANXIETY: A BOOK FOR THE PERFECTIONIST OVERACHIEVER

When doing more isn’t helping you feel better

You know how to work hard, meet expectations, and keep things moving. But underneath everything you accomplish, you may still feel worried, overwhelmed, or convinced you should be doing more.

Written by therapist Nicole Nina, Balancing Anxiety offers a place to pause and understand those patterns. Through approachable education, reflective worksheets, and mindfulness practices, you’ll explore how anxiety and perfectionism show up in your life and what it could look like to respond differently.

Use it for personal reflection, alongside therapy, or as a resource to return to when you need space to check in with yourself.

More room to reflect, in and beyond the therapy room

Give yourself space to understand what you’re carrying

You don’t need another assignment to get ‘right’. You deserve a resource that helps you pause, reflect, and consider what would support you.

Written by a therapist who understands the pressure to keep going

Nicole Nina is a therapist, founder of Balancing Anxiety, and an author drawn to working with deeply feeling, perfectionist overachievers.

Her experience spans social work, private practice, and training fellow clinicians. Through her work with anxious, striving people, she has seen how much someone can accomplish while quietly feeling that they’re falling short.

As an EMDR-certified therapist and IFS practitioner, Nicole brings clinical experience and curiosity to understanding those patterns. As a mother and business owner, she also knows that caring for yourself has to find a place within a full, complicated life.

She wrote Balancing Anxiety to help readers understand themselves through practical information, reflective exercises, and conversations about their care.
